Description:

The Coleman PerfectFlow InstaStart 2-Burner Propane Stove makes campside cooking a breeze. Each burner delivers a fully-adjustable 10,000 BTUs with dependable, matchless InstaStart push-button ignition. The PerfectFlow propane pressure control ensures consistent cooking performance by producing a steady fuel stream -- even in cold weather, at high altitudes, or when fuel is low. What's more, the folding WindBlock system provides side panels to block the wind and foster more efficient cooking. The panels can alternately be folded down to form side shelves, which can be convenient condiment or utensil holders. With both burners on High, the stove provides about an hour of cooking time on one 16.4-oz propane cylinder (sold separately). The stove's rust-resistant enamel-painted case and removable nickel-chrome grate are a breeze to clean, and the secure latching lid and convenient carry handle make it easy to bring along.

20,000 BTU in two powerful, independently adjustable, high-performance stainless steel burners

PerfectFlow system regulates fuel flow for constant, even heat

1 hour of cooking time with both burners on High, on one 16.4-oz. propane cylinder (sold separately)

4Great Stove!Sep 06, 2010
I was pleasantly surprised with this stove. When I received it and opened it up, my first thought was that "wow that's small". I was wrong - I was able to fit a 9 inch fry pan and a 10 1/2 inch kettle together on the surface. It looks great and worked without a problem. It heated everything very quickly. As mentioned in other posts, be careful when you carry this stove while shut - latch will sometimes release and dump everything on the ground. (I was expecting it, but it still happened once). All in all, I would highly recommend this stove. Happy camping!

5Great stove!!Jul 23, 2010
After a lot of research for a camp stove I came across this Coleman PerfectFlow stove. It had good reviews and I like that it has a carry handle. It definitely burns hot, and we only went through 2 cans of gas for 10 days of cooking on it, that was impressive! The stove worked great on our recent trip to Yellowstone, rainy windy weather and the stove still performed flawlessly in the rain. It burns really hot, you have to be careful to keep the setting low otherwise you can burn things easily. Also one more thing, this stove boils water FAST! It's definitely better than trying to boil water over an open fire. Enjoy this stove, it's a good one and you can't beat the price!!

1Don't do it!Jul 17, 2010
I buy gobbs on Amazon cuz I love the reviews and can tell you that I thought with all the rave ones I'd dismiss those who remarked about the difficult to adjust flame, thinking they must be just extra picky. Nope, they're not - on our first trip, I got so aggrevated over that I could have wrestled big foot out in those woods, and won! Could not get it to low to save my life, so thusly wound up having to turn the stinking thing off and relight just to keep things from burning, and even that was a futile effort. Arrgghhh!

I loved the fact that it has that nice-to-touch carrying handle, is compact yet good cooking area, and had the Instastart. However, after only a few uses the Instastart was Insta-I'm-not-starting-anything-anymore, leaving me to use matches anyway, so that part was a bust.

And yup, other reviewers were also right when they complained about the rigid copper tube that connects to the tank - makes positioning the tank a real pain, only place for it to work well at all is hanging precariously off the side of your table, placing weight bearing on that connection which to me is an obvious opportunity to cause a leak.

Nope, believe those reviewers - I wouldn't recommend this thing if it were 5 bucks, it's still not worth the headache of burning everything you cook. And now I have to go find another one...arrrghhh.

4Good for Car CampingJul 16, 2010
This is a great camp stove for those wanting to do some "car camping". Easy to set up and the flame is strong. Only concerns are that controlling the flame is a little difficult, and lighting the stove using the pezio start can be tricky. Basically just barely crack open the gas or you won't get the correct air / gas mixture needed for ignition.

I attach a 4 foot hose and a small 5 pound LP tank to mine for camping and it works out great. Will last the better part of the summer season.
